WHR would like to issue an apology

World Horse Racing would like to clarify that earlier information shared on 1st April 2026 regarding Ka Ying Rising and Royal Ascot was incorrect.


The post was not factually correct and was not developed based on verified facts or quotations from David Hayes, the connections of Ka Ying Rising, or The Hong Kong Jockey Club, and should not have been published.


We sincerely apologise for the confusion caused, and for any embarrassment or concern caused to Mr Hayes, the connections of Ka Ying Rising, and The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

The post has been removed, and we have taken immediate steps to strengthen our internal review processes to ensure this does not happen again.
